Inappropriate or friendly competition?

Earlier this week a video surfaced from YouTube. The video was of a group of girls that were 8-9 years old. They had entered a dance competition, as a group they decided to do "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Their dance moves were good as a performance but I and many others don't think that the moves were age appropriate. They group said that they had gotten the moves from "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" The children's parents swear that their kids have never viewed the video for "Single Ladies".

DWTS RESULTS

Last night on Dancing with the Stars. The star of "All My Children" Star Aiden Turner was eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday night's results show, after earning criticism for his rumba with partner Edyta Sliwinska. "I’ve had a great time," said a tearful Turner, who got a standing ovation from the crowd in the ballroom. "The experience of being on "Dancing with the Stars" has been amazing…Now I feel like I can move like I never moved before."

There is only two days until Coachella. It has been said to be better then last year. With everybody getting excited to go and to experience this colloboration of over 100 artists. SO SICK!!!!

Power House 2010

Saturday June 91, 2010 at the Honda Center in Anaheim The Power House of 2010 will be taking place. Drake, Snoop Dogg, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Baby Bash, Jason Derlo, B.O.B, and Bruno Mras are just some of the many artists that are playing at this concert. Cant Wait!!!!

Kate Gosselin on DWTS

Kate Gosselin , "John and Kate plus 8", is on Dancing with the Stars. Her Partner Tony Dovolani have been having so emotional issues and spats. This week Kate consulted an acting coach inorder to let some of her inner feelings out. The judges all had bad things to say about her performance. Len Goodman said that there was no passion in the dance.

New Disneyland

Disneyland will unergo huge expasions to its park in 2013 . Fantasy land and many others will double in size. Also getting remmodeled is the beloved Dumbo ride, which will also double in size, flying riders high above brand new interactive circus grounds, complete with a three-ring tent. After taking the skies, visitors will be able to see Ariel in a brand new attraction based on The Little Mermaid. There will also be new interactive attractions, allowing kids (or kids-at-heart) to dance with Cinderella, celebrate Sleeping Beauty's birthday, or watch Belle perform in the Beast's castle library.

Man killed in Barber Shop

Los Angeles police say a man was shot to death while sitting in a barber's chair. Police say 35-year-old Domingo Reyes was getting a haircut in the Westlake area shortly after 6:30 p.m. Sunday night when a gunman walked in and shot him twice in the chest and once in the head, then fled. The police say it looks gang related but its unclear at this point and time.

Uggs are bad for you??

Experts debate the dangers of wearing Uggs. These boots are literally breaking your foot down. The stylish shoes have no arch support. If you keep on wearing them your foot will eventually become flat. This flattens the arch and makes it drop. The result can be significant problems with the foot, the ankle, and ultimately, the hip.

Farrah snipped from clip

The Academy apologizes for the exclusion of Farrah Fawcett in the Oscar-event tribute to Hollywood personalities who had died over the past year. While some agents and publicists, besides actors, were included in the memorial, Fawcett, a high-profile star better known for her TV work (who also appeared on the big screen), was not. The executive director of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has apologized to everybody, friends, family, fans, he is greatly sorry fr not including her.

Lost boy found Dead

Corey Haims the star of the 1980s hit The Lost Boys was found dead at the age of 38. Haim died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, due to a supposedly drug overdose. I guess he abused his fame and his wealth. May he rest in peace.

Avatar dressup

On the night of the Oscars, Ben Stiller dressed up as an avatar. It was a full on suite with ears and a tail that had a piece of fishing line attached to it so that it would move. During his time on stage he talked about him wanting to wear his Spak ears because Star Trek was being nominated for best make up and Avatar wasn't. Some people thought that this skit was a waste of time. I thought that it was hilarious.

Sandra Bullock gave a very emotional speech last night. She had won leading female role in the Blind Side. She gave thanks to her mom for not letting her go in a car with a boy until she was 18 because her mom knew what she would have done. holding back from tear's she stated that "I would like to thank what this film was about for me, which are the moms that take care of the babies and the children no matter where they come from,"

Fact or Fiction?

Was Obama pulling a Britney? What I mean is that Obama was supposedly caught lip- syncing at a live speech at the University of Michigan. The white house released a statement that this was caused by a feedback problem that made it appear that the president was using a prerecorded audio tape. Two hours later after the White House had given the statement, Todd Grant had changed the story and said that yes in fact that the president was using a speech track. If you know the sight the onion, you would have guessed that this was a fake.

Homeschooling

Would you rather be at school or being home-schooled? I would actually rather be in home schooling. One German family moved here to the US because they didn't like what there children were learning in public school, and homeschooling is ILLEGAL there. When is homeschooling illegal,before the Romeikes family decided to move here. The family had to face fines of $10,000 because their 3 oldest children were being home schooled.

Being Disqualified sucks!!!

The well known Dutch speed skater, Sven Kramer, was disqualified on February 24, 2010. Sven was disqualified because when he skated he was sent to the wrong lane by his coach. Sven still raced without knowing what his coach had done. Sven had the fastest time and would have won the gold, but due to his coaches mistake he didn't receive any medals

Lindsey Vonn crashes

Lindsey Vonn (left) broke her right pinkie finger last night while going for the gold. Vonn was excited and ready to win. While on her run, she hit uneven snow that caused her to swurve and tumble out of control. When she finally stopped falling her other teammate Julia Mancuso was actually starting her run without knowing that Vonn was hurt. Half way through Julia's run the officials had stopped to get Vonn off the track and to get her medical attention. Vonn was upset but was lucky to have faced minor injuries.

Alice in Wonderland

Tim Burtons new fantasy film Alice in Wonderland is supposed to be a hit. This is Tim Burton's sixth film that he has directed with his girlfriend Helena Bonham Carter nad his fourth movie with Johnny Depp, who has also collaborated with him on seven other films."Alice in Wonderland" marks Burton's latest reunion with Walt Disney Studios, where he started his career as an animator 30 years ago. Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter andBonham Carter is playing the bratty Queen of Hearts.

DVD to Blu-ray

Warner Bros. Home Video is offering an online service that can change used DVD's to the same Dvd but in Blu-ray format. This service will cost about eight to ten dollars depending on the movie title after you have mailed in your movie. This process is said to take about 4 -5 weeks. they have about 50 movie titles but there will be more in the near future. I think that its worth the wait.

Shaun White

Shaun White will be performing this Wednesday. He will be performing his gravity-defying Double McTwist 1260 to defend his Olympic title. The Multi- million dollar man will go for the Gold again this time.

Avatar two??

Slash Film has reported that technical crew members are being hired to complete the sequel to Avatar. The Technical crew might have to sign a 3 to 5 year contract. The movie has become the highest view film.

Walmart"s new commercial

Walmart's new commercial is so hilarious and yet it is very sad at the same time . It has become a viral hit on the Internet. The commercial is about a dad at his daughters birthday, and that he got all the cheap decorations at "Walmart". The commercial was aired during the Sunday's NFL Playoffs. Jaguar Dies in captivity

The Last and only Jaguar dies in captivity on January 26 of this year. The Jaguar named Macho B was intentionally and illegally snared by employees of the Arizona Game and Fish Department last February.The employees said that it was accidental but was proved intentional. After the accident Macho B was in good health and was released fully equipped with a radio transmitter collar. A few days later he wasn't moving. They brought him to the Phoenix Zoo
where he was diagnosed with irreversible kidney failure and was later euthanized. This ended the long history of the United States wild Jaguar population.

Conan O'Brian

The Tonight Show aired it last show last night (January 22 ,2010). Conan brought out Will Ferrel who sang a pretty good version of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird" with ZZ top. I'm going to miss this show, I think that some of his stuff is pretty funny.

7.0 earthquake in Haiti

On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti a small island off the coast of Cuba. Thousands were injured and many dead. LOST

The final season of LOST that premieres in February may be delayed due to President Obama's State of the Union Address. I would wait for The White House to ancounce when the Speech is.

Golden Globes Nominees

The Golden Globes Nominees are in and it looks like Avatar will compete for best drama. James Cameron got a nomination for best directer. Inglorious Bastards will also compete for best drama, best supporting actor, best direct and best screen play.
